Covid-19 Prevention

ANSWERING YOUR QUESTIONS:

All staff at Vicki’s Making Faces, takes the blood borne pathogen class and test on a yearly basis. It is important that we do EVERYTHING we can to protect our clients and ourselves from any infectious disease or virus. With COVID-19 wreaking havoc on our country, we decided to make some extra changes. (Too many of us have people in our lives that are immune compromised.)

When you arrive, you will ring the doorbell and have a seat on the outside bench or back in your car. We will come get you when we are ready for you.

Upon entering, you will remove your shoes, put on your own socks, mask & we’ll give you some hand sanitizer for your hands. (We also wear shoes for IN the office and not outside). You will be the only one in our waiting consultation area, except your artist, who will also, be wearing a mask.

We have added several multi-layer room purifier that captures and destroys pollutants such as allergens, VOC gases and microscopic particles. It also has Ultra Violet sterilization to destroy germs and viruses while preventing re-circulation of live germs. These air scrubbing units will remain running while we are in the office. Between appointments, we will be running the purifiers on turbo and scrubbing the room.

While you have your eyeliner or brows completed, we will both wear masks. We will give you a surgical cap to wear on your hair for added protection. With each client, we wear new, disposable isolation gowns or clean, freshly laundered smocks to create another layer of prevention. (We wear our hair pulled back and change surgical caps with each client.) If we are working on face or lips, we will be wearing a face shield.

If you have a fever, suspicious symptoms or have been exposed to someone with covid-19, we ask that you reschedule your appointment for 2 weeks later.

When you check out, you will receive all your aftercare products. We don’t want you making unnecessary trips to the store. If you have additional questions, feel free to reach out and ask. You can email us at Vickismakingfaces@sbcglobal.net or call Rhonda at 817-247-9912
